It seemed like fate had a guiding hand when the Grant family decided to buy a new property at The Braes in Falkirk.

Not only was their dream Canterbury four bedroom home available but Michael, Suzanne and daughter Amelia were in for a big surprise when they found out their new home was in the appropriately named Grant Drive.
Suzanne said: “We didn’t know the address until we were about to move in and were amazed to find it was Grant Drive, which has caused lots of hilarity among our friends and relatives. People keep asking if Walker Group named the street after us!”

The family love their new home with its welcoming hallway, formal lounge, spacious open plan kitchen with family room and utility room.
With four generously sized bedrooms there is lots of room for the family to spread out. With the master featuring its own ensuite shower room and a contemporary family bathroom, there is never any need for queues to get ready in the morning.

Unsurprisingly Suzanne is a big fan of the master bedroom with its walk in wardrobe while both Michael and Amelia are putting the extra space in the property to good use as well – Amelia with her own double bedroom and playroom and her dad with his ‘malt room’ complete with whisky collection, tasting space and television with sound systems.

“We absolutely love our new home which has been finished to a fabulously high standard and lots of Amelia’s friends have been round and say they love it,” said Suzanne.

The family are equally full of praise for Walker Group. “The service we received from Walker Group was first class and the site manager is definitely one in a million. The Grants of Grant Drive couldn’t be happier.”
The Braes will feature 73 three, four and five bedroom family homes when complete.

With high quality finishes and fittings as standard, each property includes stylish and practical kitchens and bathrooms, along with high-efficiency heating systems and appliances to help ease carbon footprint concerns.

Local attractions include Callendar Park, an ideal place to spend the day exploring the woods, visiting the ornamental gardens or taking a boat trip on the loch.

The surrounding area offers renowned attractions such Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and the Falkirk Wheel, as well as superb local amenities for shopping, sport and leisure.
