One in five of Brits have split up with their partner over their bathroom habits, according to new research from Triton Showers.

The survey of 2000 adults showed that seven in 10 couples argue over the state the bathroom was left in.

Help is at hand however for home buyers who have fallen out once too often over wet towels on the floor or hair in the plughole - Walker Group has just released a stylish Roxburgh Corner at its Glen Ora development in North Berwick.

This generous home comes with not one but two en-suite shower-rooms and a large spa like family bathroom, ensuring harmony for couples warring over who spilled the shampoo.

Walker Group Director Sandy Casey says: “Having two separate shower-rooms is great for couples or families with teenagers and helps make living together a whole lot easier. Most people start the day with a bath or shower and having a calm, clean space to yourself adds hugely to the enjoyment of daily life.”

Creating the perfect environment for relaxing, the bathroom of the Roxburgh Corner features a contemporary cube bath and built in vanity units.

Priced at £508,000, the Roxburgh Corner also features a large lounge, open plan kitchen and dining room and a separate family room which would make an ideal home office or workspace. This bright airy room has an extra window giving lots of light for close work and patio doors into the garden, offering a quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house.

Along with a separate utility and cloakroom, it also comes with a double garage – perfect as a workshop for a craft business or for storing documents or business equipment.

This stylish home offers five bedrooms upstairs, with the master also featuring a dressing room as well as the ensuite shower room. With high quality finishes and fittings as standard, each property at Glen Ora includes a stylish and practical kitchen and bathroom, along with a high-efficiency heating system and appliances to help ease carbon footprint concerns.

Designed to be family friendly, North Berwick’s popular primary school and highly regarded High School are a short walking distance from Glen Ora. North Berwick is one of the jewels of East Lothian, with miles of unspoilt coastline, world class golf courses and main streets filled with a selection of trendy cafes, fine seafood restaurants and interesting art and craft shops.

There is even an old-fashioned sweet shop and artisan bakery. Along with the beautiful beaches, there is a pretty harbour and the Scottish Seabird Centre where visitors can learn more about the region’s wildlife. There’s a great choice of sports available from rugby, tennis and bowls to sailing, surfing and horse riding, and of course golf with a number of courses to choose from.

Close to Glen Ora is the town’s public swimming pool, while spa facilities are available at the Macdonald Marine hotel. Buyers can see the high standard of property on offer at Glen Ora by visiting the stylish Brampton showhome which is open from Thursday to Monday from 11am to 5.00pm.
