DEMAND BLOSSOMS FOR LONG MEADOW
A new phase of homes has been brought forward at Walker Group’s Long Meadow in Ormiston, to meet demand from buyers after a flurry of sales in the run up to Christmas.

The latest release of homes includes the four bedroom Canterbury and the Canterbury Corner, two of Walker Group’s larger family homes.

Priced from £280,000, the Canterbury has a bright front-facing lounge and a 21 ft long open kitchen and family room featuring stainless steel appliances, an integrated fridge freezer and double oven and chrome worktop lighting all included in the price.

A separate utility room, welcoming reception hall and integral garage complete the ground floor. Upstairs the master bedroom has its own ensuite and a much admired dressing room. There are a further three bedrooms and a contemporary family bathroom.

The Canterbury Corner, priced from £289,000 has the same floorplan as the Canterbury but boasts a larger family room and a bigger second bedroom.

Also available is the three bedroom semi-detached Hendon, which is available from £216,000 and has a front-facing kitchen and a large 16ft long lounge dining room opening out to the back garden.

There is also a handy cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs the master is also impressively proportioned at 16ft long and comes with its own ensuite. The other two bedrooms come with wardrobes and there is a family bathroom.

Sandy Casey, Director of Walker Group, said: “We have seen a big increase in footfall and enquiries to Long Meadow in recent months – as buyers can now see the lifestyle on offer and our new residents are telling their friends and families how much they love living there.

“As a result, we have decided to release the next phase a bit earlier than planned to meet demand from buyers who are keen to set up home there.”

Located 14 miles from Edinburgh, Long Meadow boasts a choice of three, four and five bedroom homes. Ormiston offers an attractive village lifestyle, just three miles from Tranent and 20 minutes’ drive from Fort Kinnaird Retail Park.

Wallyford rail station is just over five miles away offering a regular 14 minute service to Edinburgh Waverley. A stunning showhome is open for viewing Thursday to Monday from 11am to 5pm, EH35 5AB.
