Falkirk recorded a bumper number of property sales in 2018 according to new data.

The latest report from Registers of Scotland showed sales volumes increased by 25.5% last year in the town, narrowly behind front runner East Dunbartonshire which recorded the biggest rise at 29.3% and North Lanarkshire 25.8%.

The news is no surprise to housebuilder Walker Group, which has enjoyed great success with The Braes in the town.
