She said: “It was the funniest thing, it just seemed like we had always been meant to live here.”
Caroline, husband Kenny and identical twins daughters Kelly and Lee bought the house in Meadows Park after viewing endless properties.
Caroline, who is a social care worker, said: “We drove out to The Willows development and our first impression was wow - we loved the landscaping, the designs and layouts of the houses, which are just beautiful.
“We went in to the showroom and met the sales consultant Agnes who was lovely and helpful and answered all of our questions.”
The couple instantly fell in love with the Stuart, a four bedroom family villa with three public rooms, ideal for them and identical twin daughters Kelly and Lee. “The rooms are an amazing size and the space downstairs is just so light and spacious,” explained Caroline.
A big added attraction was the family room, where Caroline banishes husband Kenny when she wants to puts her feet up and catch up on her favourite television shows in the lounge.
She said: “Now Kenny can watch his programmes in peace and there are no fights over the remote control, which is an absolute dream and makes me the envy of all my friends.”
When not watching television Caroline can be found in the garden, attending to her flowers and splashing about in the family hot tub. She said: “I love my garden space - Walkers certainly don’t scrimp on their plot sizes. In the winter we were able to sit out in the hot tub which was just amazing. The girls love having their friends round.”
The MacDonald family have quickly settled into their new home and have struck up friendships with site managers Ian and Joe. “They are two of the most helpful and kind people you could meet and they always wave and stop outside my home and ask how we are getting on. That’s what I call service!” said an impressed Caroline.
She added: “We have been in the house for almost a year now and we have made lots of friends, it is such a neighbourly place. I can’t recommend Walker Group highly enough. In fact our friends are moving in along the road soon they love it so much.”
All of the properties have now been sold at The Willows, but buyers will find a range of beautiful three, four and five bedroom home on offer at Walker Group’s nearby Oakhurst development in Tranent.
