New Home is the Perfect Arrangement for Florist

Sarah Jane, husband Paul and daughter Brooke already lived in the estate and were close enough to carry some of the boxes themselves.

Florist Sarah Jane explained: “We loved our first home at Mill Park and feel really lucky to have bought another home here as it is such an exclusive development. The great thing is that we still have all our ties in the community. I’m only five minutes away from my flower shop here and Paul is 20 minutes on the motorway to work.
“Brooke has settled in very well at a local nursery and we have great friends and neighbours here. We could have chosen to live in another area but we wanted to stick to Elderslie both because of the house and the community.”

The couple have moved from a four bedroom property to a larger four bedroom villa which gives them a new family room, games room, walk-in wardrobe and dressing room.

Surprisingly, prior to buying their first home at Mill Park, the couple had always preferred period properties and previously lived in a mill conversion in Paisley. However it didn’t take them long to become new build converts. “What impressed us most was the size of the rooms and what we could get for our money. The stereotypical image of a new-build is that you end up with small rooms and no storage but that isn’t the case with Walker Group,” said Sarah Jane.

And not having to worry about renovating a traditional property has been a huge relief to the couple. “I don’t think we would go back to older properties because of things like maintenance and up-keep costs.”

Mill Park at Elderslie is ideally situated for easy commuting to Glasgow with excellent road and bus links to both Glasgow and Paisley. The village of Elderslie’s most famous resident was William Wallace and the Wallace Monument is a popular tourist attraction.
